Went to the Olive Garden on Winchester in Memphis. Kinda wary about "chain" restaurants. This is the 2nd time we have been there.
On both occasions, the place was busy. We were seated quickly, the staff was great, and the food was superb.
It was brought out in order..house salad, (which we asked for while waiting on the appetizers) appetizers, main course. The waitress was friendly, prompt and did not rush us by bringing the next course too fast.
The dessert was great also. It looked as if the other customers were having an equally good experience. 4 stars for good service, food and a great dining experience.

Today, I had dinner at the renowned italian restaurant, Olive Garden. Upon entering, one notices the calm atmosphere and the dim lighting of the area. I went today with my friend because he is leaving for college in a few days. I wasn't too hungry so I shared with him and had an espresso. We ordered the chicken Alfredo with the soup. The chicken Alfredo was great and fulfilling. It was the perfect mixture of grilled, all-natural chicken and Alfredo sauce. The noodles were of the thick variety and went well with the chicken.
The chicken was not burnt at all and had the perfect blend of Italian spices. Our alternative choice was the Chicken Parmesan, which is an Italian food classic. The display of it looked good to eat. Breaded breast of chicken topped with marinara sauce over a bed of spaghetti. I would have preferred to order Olive Garden's soup promotion. I believe it is all-you-can-eat soup and breadsticks for 8 dollars. However, the downside is that its only for lunch. Over-all the food was great, creamy, and tasty. I just wish I ordered the appetizer sampler. The sampler included calamari, stuffed mushrooms, and fried mozzarella.

* Expensive (15 dollars for Chicken Alfredo)

* Food seems high in cholesterol

I just received my Olive Garden Coupon in the mail, so I knew when my wife got home, we would go straight to our favorite italian food restaurant. When arriving at the restaurant we were amazed as always the amount of people coming in and out, but were still able to get a seat within five minutes.
We started by ordering some Olive Garden house wine to sip on until the salad came. The italian salad was great as usual. We always talk about how good the olive garden house dressing is, and think about buying some, but then decide maybe we can just find a the olive garden recipe online somewhere. I order the chicken picatta as usual, but really want to try to newly added to the menu chicken carbonara. Maybe next time. My Wife orders one of Olive Gardens new menu items, the classic carbonara.
We give the service two thumbs up, food two thumbs up, giving the dining experience an overall great experience.
